Carpet Remnants
Carpet remnants are not seconds or scatter rugs or outdated carpet or second runs. They can range in size from small area rugs to large enough to cover several rooms. Carpets come on big rolls. A typical roll of carpet is about 150 feet long.
Our US manufacturers make hundreds of rolls of carpet of all different colors, textures, and styles, which they store in their warehouses. When a customer needs a specific length in a particular color, the mill cuts that much carpet from the roll.
Eventually, a roll becomes short. It is going to be extremely rare that someone will need that exact size and color. For that reason, it is difficult for the mill to sell all the ‘remnants’ of carpet.
Manufacturers end up with hundreds of hard-to-sell sizes (remnants). Benny's Carpet buys carpet remnants from our manufacturers at a discount, and we pass that discount on to you.
You may be able to carpet one or more rooms with high-quality carpet for a substantial discount with new remnant carpet. This is a great way to carpet a college dorm room or warm a basement room.
